Rachel's first Easter!

Here are some picture of Rachel in her Easter dress. Grandma gave her the dress and we love how it makes her eyes really blue. She is so Cute!

11 months....

I had a half a minute tonight and thought I would log on to the blog and realized that the last time I put pictures up was at Rachel's 10 month - now she is almost 1 and I forget to put up the 11 month. So here they are for what it is worth. Rachel is growing so fast. Today she crawled down the stairs without help. I stood there and thought - really!!! We have been doing lessons on this for several months (Ever since she crawled) and all of a sudden she can go. She amazes me. She learns fast! The other exciting news is that she held her bottle today for the first time. I guess I have loved being her mom and feeding her every minute that I can, that I haven't taught her how to feed herself a bottle (She will hold her own sippy cup but not her own bottle) so today she laid down on the floor of my bedroom and just drank her bottle like she always knew how to hold it. In fact, when I was so amazed she looked at me like, "Mom what is the big deal?!"

She is such a character and we just love it!!!

Rachel is 10 months old!

Can anyone believe that Rachel is 10 months old??? It is hard for me to take it in that in 2 months she will be 1yr. What happened? Time is going faster and faster!!!

Ball with Barsky

Since Rachel is crawling everywhere she has discovered that if she finds Barsky's ball - she gets attention. So we set together and throw to ball to Barsky and normally have a great time. My favorite is when Rachel starts talking to the dog and just goes and goes and goes.

I'm Standing!!!

This month Rachel decided that standing is a great way to get a reaction out of her mother. The first time she did it, I fell off the couch. She just stands up were ever she wants and then starts clapping like she climbed a mountain. Just a week ago, she took 4 steps in a row. I don't think I am ready for this!

My new favorite thing...Laundry

If I can't find Rachel - I good look in my closet. She is turning into a laundry girl. (We teach them young here) she LOVES!!!!! unpacking the laundry baskets. We can load them up and she unloads them. After about 5 times, I try to find a different activity.

I'm Sleepy...

I just loved this day because of the pictures that were taken of me when I was little. I used to fall asleep every where! So I was feeding Rachel back at the beginning of the month and she just dropped her head and closed her eyes. I guess that is what happens when you have such a busy day getting into everything.
