Cousin Liv came to visit

Because of the care that Pop and Popo need, Cousin Liv came to visit us while Aunt Laura took care of them. I was personally grateful to gain a greater understanding of what it is like to have 2 babies in the house but also the be able to bond with Liv. It was a chance of life time and we now have a very special place in our heart for that little girl. While she was here, RB was most interested in calling her sister and wanting to show her how to do things. Prayer time has never been so easy, RB just wanted to show her how to fold her arms. The three hours of church were unforgettable and Gus and I never got up so many times in meeting or had so many liquids all over the place. We both were more than ready to get back home. Liv had two good nights and one night Liv and RB keep each other up. I really appriecated what other mothers of small children go through during night time. I am surprised that any of them make sense in the morning - maybe it is a good thing that we don't have that much adult conversation. We did have a lot of fun. We took walks, picked apples, played toys and just smiled and laughed together. Thanks Liv for the fun visit. She is always welcome!!!

Babies together

Last year, We had three babies born within a month of each other. This is the first time two of the babies were together. Ana's and Laura's they are both so different yet both so beautiful. I also added some pictures of what everyone was doing while Aunt Tammy was doing a photo shoot. It was fun to see the babies together and as much as I had to admit it, Rachel is going to be the ring leader of all these girls.

The accident

On the 8th of October - Pop and Popo were in a car accident. They approached a truck that was pulling a trailer with horse and two cars behind them. The truck was going slow and no other cars seem to care. The decision was made to pass and right as they were passing - the truck made a left hand turn. Popo's side of the car was hit as well as the drives side of the truck. Both Pop and Popo took an ambulance ride to the Nephi hospital. Pop was released there and Popo took another ride up to Utah Valley. Each of them are going to be OK but it was a scare to the family. Because Laura was in town, she has been taking care of them as well as Ana, Maura, and Biz. We have been bring dinner and taking care of cousin Liv during all of this. They were driving our car, so we are on a hunt for another car. Does anyone have a connection? Because of this, I think we all drive a little more carefully and are more grateful for family.

Dinner in a Pumpkin

I forgot that before Aunt Laura came to town - our dinner group brought dinner in a pumpkin and we thought it was so cool that we took pictures. Christen was visiting us that night!

Dinner at Pop and Popo's with Aunt Laura in Town

Several months ago, we decided to not visit Trent and Laura in LA but to bring Laura here to visit more of the family. The first night we had a great dinner at Pop and Popo's house. Ana and her kids came as well at Aunt Biz and Aunt Maura. We had a memoriable evening. My personal favorite was watching JJ and RB play with each other and then of course holding both of the babies!

Walking throught the Fall Leaves

The leaves have changed just like every year. It seems a wonder to me the colors that the mountain can hold. Simply beautiful. We took time during conference weekend to enjoy God's creation. By the end of the walk, RB was totally tired.
