Hunter came to visit!

My friend Lorie Hughes and her son Hunter came and visited us the other day for lunch and a break from life. We had a great visit and Rachel loved having someone to play with. At the end of the visit Hunter asked for a picture with Rachel so that he could be in her scrapbook. So we took a couple of pictures and thought that they turned out (kind of - Rachel wouldn't sit still and Hunter keep saying, she is running away)

Lady in Red

I think that this dress was one of the twins - Correct me if I am wrong but Rachel looks like a little doll in it. Bobbie Jo gave her the little teddy bear and I thought it matched really well.

Discovering the Kitchen

Rachel started crawling around everywhere a couple of weeks ago, but this week she has been very busy as she has found the kitchen where mommy cooks and cleans. Here are some of her adventures. I guess I need to get some locks for the cabinets or something....

Random Pictures

Here are some random pictures that I thought that I would share. One is of Gus and Rachel as we started out on a Sunday walk. One is of our Valentines party with Po and Popo. And since Rachel talking to her self in the mirror is so popular, I added another one.

Valentines Day

Three days before Valentines day Rachel turned 9 months old. Here are some of the pictures we took. We named a star after Rachel for Valentines day - it is near the big dipper! And she got a stuffed frog with a rose (as you can see in the picture) That evening we took Valentine's and Rachel put her hand print on all of them as Gus traced them all. We mailed some and passed some out. It was a fun little day!

Sledding with the Family

Over the holidays we had a lot of fun and one of the activities was sledding. Rachel only went down the little hill in our backyard but the rest of us climbed and climbed a much bigger hill and had a great time going down. Thank goodness we didn't loss Aubrey (She nearly hit a tree!)

The Snow Came and is still here!

About 2 months ago (Between Thanksgiving and Christmas) it snowed and snowed and snowed. It still looks like these pictures because it is now really cold! Rachel loves being out in it but doesn't like the bundling up part of being out in the cold. After she leaves the house she is ALL smiles. Her first big snow (2 months late)
